A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

OPEN ONLY TO ELIGIBLE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO, AT TIME OF GAME PLAY, ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AND WHO ARE TBS CABLE SUBSCRIBERS AS OF JANUARY 7, 2019.

VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

ELIGIBILITY: The Big Bang Theory Trivia Sweepstakes instant win game (“Promotion”) is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who, at time of game play, are at least thirteen (13) years of age and who are TBS cable subscribers as of January 7, 2019. Officers, directors, and employees (and their immediate families [spouses and parents, in-laws, siblings and children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside] and members of the same household of such, whether or not related) of Turner Entertainment Networks, Inc. (“Sponsor”) and their respective parents, divisions, affiliates, dealers, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and companies involved in the implementation and execution of the Promotion (collectively the “Promotion Entities”) are not eligible to play or win. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.

PROMOTION PERIOD AND BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Promotion starts on January 8, 2019 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on February 11, 2019 at 11:59:59 PM ET ("Promotion Period"). The Promotion Period consists of the following five (5) game periods (each a “Game Period”):

Sponsor’s computer shall be the official Promotion clock.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: To participate in the Promotion, an eligible entrant must, during the Promotion Period, visit https://www.tbs.com/bigbangtrivia (“Website”), answer five (5) trivia questions (incorrect answers do not impact your chances to win) and provide his/her valid e-mail address, complete name (first and last, no initials), telephone number, and agreement to these Official Rules, to enter for a chance to win. During a Game Period, an entrant may watch the broadcast of The Big Bang Theory, which airs on TBS on Tuesday nights on each Game Period start date listed in the table above (each a “Broadcast”). During each Broadcast, a “Codeword” (a “Code”) will be announced. Beginning during the second Game Period on January 15, 2019, there will be one (1) unique Code announced during each Broadcast and there will be a different Code for each Game Period. A Code may only be used during the Game Period in which it is announced on a Broadcast. During a Game Period, after obtaining a Code for the same Game Period, an entrant may then visit the Website and follow the instructions to enter the Code from the respective Game Period’s Broadcast to receive five (5) additional game play entries (“Game Play”). Upon receiving a Game Play, the entrant will receive notification on the Website screen whether he/she is a potential prize winner. Each entrant who receives a notification indicating that he/she has won a prize will be deemed a potential winner pending verification of the entrant’s eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor will notify the potential Game Prize winners via e-mail at the e-mail address provided when registering for the Promotion. If entering via mobile device, message and data rates may apply. Entrant should check his/her wireless customer pricing plan as carrier-specific charges for mobile usage may apply.

All potential winning Game Plays are subject to verification by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding. An entrant is not a winner of any prize, even if the Promotion should so indicate, unless and until entrant’s eligibility and the potential winning Game Play have been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. Any Game Play that occurs after the system has failed for any reason is deemed defective, is void, and will not be honored.

Limit: An entrant may receive one (1) Game Play per Game Period. Any attempted form of participation in this Promotion other than as described herein is void. If it is discovered that an entrant has registered or attempted to register for the Promotion using multiple e-mail addresses or multiple identities, all of that entrant’s Game Plays will be declared null and void and any prize that entrant might have been entitled to will not be awarded to him/her. If it is discovered that any entrant attempts to receive Game Plays in excess of the stated limitation, that entrant may, in Sponsor’s discretion, be disqualified from the Promotion.

PRIZES, ODDS OF WINNING, AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”):

1. a. Prizes (4 total; 1 per Game Period): Each winner will receive a Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250 US) TBS store credit, redeemable at https://shop.tbs.com/ (“Prize”). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Prize is Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250 US).

1. Odds of Winning: To be a Game Prize winner, an entrant’s Game Play must have occurred at the exact randomly predetermined winning time as determined by Sponsor or, if a Game Play does not occur at the exact randomly predetermined winning time, entrant’s Game Play must be the first Game Play following the predetermined winning time. The number of Prizes available to be won will decrease during the Promotion Period as Prizes are awarded and claimed.

1. Total ARV: The Total ARV of all Prizes is One Thousand Dollars ($1,000 US).

1. General: In no event will more Prizes than are stated in these Official Rules be awarded. If, for any reason, more Prize notifications are sent (or more claims are received) than the number of Prizes offered, as set forth in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to award the intended number of prizes through a random drawing from among all eligible Prize claims received. Further, if, for any reason, including but not limited to an administrative, printing, production, computer or other error or due to technical difficulties or incorrect announcements of any kind, more winning messages are distributed, or more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded for any prize according to these Official Rules, the intended prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified prize claims. Limit of one (1) Prize from each Game Period per person/household.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Winner will be connected with wbshop.com team to fulfill Prize approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks after verification.. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, is not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if a Prize is returned as undeliverable, the Prize may be forfeited. If a Prize is forfeited for any reason, it may be awarded to an alternate potential winner, at the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion, selected at random from the remaining pool of Game Plays, time permitting. Prizes are not transferable and include only the items specifically listed as part of each Prize. No substitution or cash equivalent of Prize is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. If a Prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize or portion thereof with another Prize of equal or greater value. Any portion of a Prize not accepted by a winner will be forfeited. Federal, state, and local taxes on a Prize and any expenses relating to the acceptance of and use of a Prize not specified herein are the responsibility of a Prize winner. Approximate retail values are as of the time these Official Rules were printed and the value of a Prize may fluctuate. A winner is not entitled to any difference between the ARV and the actual value of the Prize at the time the Prize is awarded. All other costs and expenses not expressly set forth herein shall be solely the winner’s responsibility. The Promotion Entities shall not be held responsible for any delays in awarding a Prize for any reason. Each Prize will only be awarded to a verified winner.

INTERNET/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Promotion Entities are not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections; for miscommunications; failed television, telephone or computer transmissions; for jumbled, scrambled or misdirected Game Plays or transmissions; for television, phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties; for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind, whether human, typographical, mechanical or electronic; or for any damage to any person's computer related to participating in the Promotion. Promotion Entities are not responsible for incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, late, lost, stolen, damaged or non-delivered Game Plays or e-mail, for incorrect or inaccurate registration information, whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion, or for any typographical, technical or human errors which may occur in the processing of any Game Plays in this Promotion or the announcement of any potential Prize winner. Persons found or suspected to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Promotion, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and may be subject to prosecution. Any person attempting to enter using multiple e-mail addresses, multiple identities, any bot, robotic, programmed or any other device or artifice to enter multiple times or to interfere with the proper administration of this Promotion or to be otherwise behaving in an unsportsmanlike manner, as determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified from participation in the Promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

RELEASE: By participating in the Promotion, each entrant releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Promotion Entities from and against any and all costs, claims, damages, (including, without limitation, any special, incidental or consequential damages), or any other injury, whether due to negligence or otherwise, to person(s) or property (including, without limitation, death or violation of any personal rights, such as violation of right of publicity/privacy, libel, or slander), due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Promotion, or arising out of participation in any Promotion-related activity, or the receipt, delivery, use or misuse, of any Prize.

DISPUTES: EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, THE PROMOTION IS GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN THE COUNTY OF FULTON, GEORGIA IF THE CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM IS NOT OTHERWISE RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS OR MEDIATION, IT SHALL THEN BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES OR SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS THEREOF (“AAA RULES”). THE AAA RULES FOR SELECTION OF AN ARBITRATOR SHALL BE FOLLOWED, EXCEPT THAT THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE EXPERIENCED AND LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN MICHIGAN. ALL PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT PURSUANT TO THIS PARAGRAPH WILL BE CONDUCTED IN OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF. ANY DEMAND FOR ARBITRATION MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR OF THE TIME THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUED, OR THE CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE FOREVER BARRED.

PUBLICITY RIGHTS AND PRIVACY POLICY: Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in this Promotion will be collected by Sponsor, or their designees, and used by Sponsor and/or their designees: (i) as stated in the Privacy Policy located at https://www.tbs.com/privacy and/or as otherwise disclosed to entrant in connection with any separate opt-in opportunity provided to entrant during participation in the Promotion, (ii) for any other purposes as may be necessary in connection with the proper administration, fulfillment, publicizing, and promotion of the Promotion as described in these Official Rules, and/or (iii) as otherwise expressly consented to by entrant during any separate opt-in opportunity provided to entrant during participation in the Promotion. If an entrant does not fully agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy stated above or with Sponsor’s statement in the Official Rules as to the use of an entrant’s personal information, such entrant should not provide any personal information on the Website or enter the Promotion.

GENERAL: If, in the judgment of Sponsor, the Promotion is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor, which corrupts the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Promotion, Sponsor reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to discontinue, suspend or terminate the Promotion. In the event of any such discontinuation, suspension or termination, notice thereof will be posted at the Website and Sponsor will make the Prizes available to be won in a manner it deems fair and reasonable, which manner shall include the selection of potential Prize winner in a random drawing from among all eligible Game Plays received prior to any such discontinuation, suspension or termination. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the Prize winner, the winning Game Play will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of Game Play. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all matters pertaining to this Promotion. By accepting a Prize, the Prize winner grants Sponsor and its designees the right to use his/her individual name, address, biographical information, photograph, statements, and likeness for advertising, publicity & promotion purposes and for any other such purposes as they so determine, in any and all media, including television, worldwide, without limitation, without further compensation, permission or notice, except where prohibited by law. PROMOTION ENTITIES MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT AS REGARDS ANY PRIZE. AS SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, ENTRANTS SHOULD CHECK THEIR LOCAL LAWS TO LEARN IF ANY OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO THEM.
