The Real Gilligan's Island - Episode Four
Part One:

Seven final castaways have--literally--weathered the storm, and have earned the right to compete for the chance to be the last man (or woman) standing. As this week's episode begins, the group returns to their huts after an emergency evacuation to find everything intact except for a few stray tree branches. They begin to clean before they are interrupted by host Scott Lasky, who tells them how the game will change.

Each castaway learns that he or she is on her own--including the Millionaire Stearns--to compete in reward and safety competitions. At the end of each competition, the castaways will get to vote for someone they'd like to see eliminated. "I am no longer a team with my husband, I am now on my own. Maybe we'll get voted off, maybe we'll vote each other off. It's anybody's guess," states Millionaire Mindy.

The seven castaways reflect on the information they're given and begin to decide if they will form alliances or work on winning on their own. "For me, I want to leave with the same integrity I brought. And to me, forming alliances and scheming against other people is something I don't want to do," declares Professor Pat. "[Ginger] Rachel and I talked about that and she feels exactly the same way."

Millionaires Mindy and Glenn Stearns don't agree. They create a strategy to get the group down to themselves, Mary Ann Kate and Gilligan Chris, with the thought that it will be easier to break the two lovebirds apart.

The radio interrupts the group's planning, as it instructs them to meet host Scott Lasky at the beach for their first individual rewards competition. The castaways are greeted by the sweet smell of...rotting fish? "You could see flies and the bubbling oil from the dead fish," says Millionaire Glenn. Scott Lasky tells the seven that one of the Millionaires has lost her ring and it has been swallowed by one of the thousand fish sitting in the pit. The seven must reach into the fish and pop their stomachs in search of the ring to win a pepperoni pizza dinner. Mary Ann Kate is victorious in the gross challenge, and invites Gilligan Chris to share her prize. Before the group returns to their huts, Scott reminds them that the next competition is for the life preserver that will keep a castaway safe from the first elimination.

As the two prepare to have their pizza dinner, the Millionaires Glenn and Mindy discuss the possibility of Mary Ann Kate and Gilligan Chris making a love connection. "I guess it's kind of a date so I could see myself making a move," admits Gilligan Chris. He and Mary Ann Kate make their way down to the beach to find a table set for two, wine, candles and pizza. They flirt and chat about their alliance in the competition. "Gilligan Chris and I have put it in our minds that we are going to be the last two standing together and we're going to do it; we're going for it," says Mary Ann Kate. Once the two enjoy the last of the food, they enjoy some intimacy in Gilligan Chris's hut before bedtime. "We capped off a great night by kissing, so I think that means that she is into me," Chris says of Kate.

The next morning, Mary Ann Kate and Gilligan Chris reflect on the night as the radio alerts all of the castaways of their safety competition. "Last night Kate and I hooked up. It was fun--an all around good night. I woke up this morning feeling great about this competition and about Mary Ann Kate," says Gilligan Chris. Mary Ann Kate echoes his sentiments saying, "I'd say that I have some sort of power over Gilligan Chris, but what woman doesn't have power over a man? I just kind of use it to my advantage."

After each takes a shower, Mary Ann Kate and Gilligan Chris join the rest to meet Scott Lasky for the rules of the safety challenge. The seven get a turn smashing the coconuts that anchor the life preserver hanging from tikis for each castaway. Ginger's coconuts are smashed by the other castaways first but not before Professor Pat destroys one of his own. "It's not a fun thing to put somebody out, so it dawned on me to smash my own coconut--confuse people a little bit," he says. Professor Pat gets the reaction he wants as jaws drop, especially Ginger Rachel's. She says, "That's one of the lamest votes. What an idiot! Who does that?"

The castaways continue to take turns breaking coconut after coconut, until Millionaire Mindy is left holding the life preserver. "I wish I could split the safety ring in two and give the other half to my husband, because whoever doesn't have it is vulnerable," she says. Scott tells the seven to start thinking about who their friends and foes really are, as the first Voodoo Village elimination looms ahead.

"I just got my head chopped off within the first thirty seconds of the game. We either all scurry into our corners and talk behind each others' backs, or I go in there and tell everyone how I feel," says Ginger Rachel upon her return to camp. The rest of the castaways get back from the beach and sit in Skipper Jim's hut to dissect the safety competition. Ginger Rachel walks into the hut, and immediately a small verbal war ensues between her and Millionaire Glenn. "Rachel is an actress. She walked into the hut and stirred it all up so that people would start breaking down. I admire the girl for how she walked in there and completely changed the game," laughs Millionaire Glenn. Mary Ann Kate jumps in and an argument between she and Ginger Rachel also begins to brew. "I was pissed cause people had been telling me that she was spreading rumors that I couldn't be trusted because I took the crackers. She's out of here," says Mary Ann Kate. Everyone looks on in wonder, including Skipper Jim, who observes, "I don't think Rachel spouting off is going to hurt her at all. She's making a point. It actually made her stronger cause it looked like she wasn't going to take any crap."

Once the dust settles, everyone goes back to their huts to wait for the elimination at Voodoo Village--everyone except Millionaire Glenn, who tries to secure his alliance with Mary Ann Kate and Gilligan Chris. "My strategy tonight is to throw the whole game into a different tailspin. I'm used to running my businesses, so hey, why not run the island?," says Millionaire Glenn.

The seven meet host Scott Lasky to get directions on how to vote for a castaway's elimination. They are told that they must each select the doll in the likeness of the person they¿d like to see go and put it into the box. Each of them has a turn before the votes are tallied by the host: Millionaire Glenn Stearns gets three votes and Professor Pat gets four. Professor Pat throws his doll into the fire and says his goodbyes before he is banished from the island. "I know I shocked and surprised everyone today when I took the move to smash my own coconut in the game. That really threw people for a loop and made them afraid of what else I may bring up in the future," says Professor Pat before he walks into the bushes as the first of the final seven to be eliminated.

Part Two:

Still reeling from the first elimination of Professor Pat, the six remaining castaways begin the next morning with strategy on their minds. None is more focused than Millionaire Glenn, as he goes on the prowl for answers to the three votes he received the night before. "I think that Rachel picked my voodoo doll because it was a retaliation for the coconut game," guesses Millionaire Glenn. He seeks out Ginger Rachel first and the two of them exchange words about the results from last night's trip to Voodoo Village. When asked why she voted for him, Ginger Rachel responds--in reference to the coconut game. "You three attacked me, and it was out-and-out cold-blooded," she says. Millionaire Glenn replies, "My goal is to win. I'm going to vote my wife off! But you said some things that made people not trust me, and that was a low blow." With that being said, Millionaire Glenn continues to make his rounds to the other castaways.

Back at their hut, Millionaire Mindy is growing tired of her husband's obsession with winning this reality competition. "All we've been doing is strategizing. We talk about strategizing, we strategize at the beach, he never stops strategizing," she complains. Meanwhile, Ginger Rachel and Gilligan Chris discuss breaking the alliance. "Rachel is smart enough to see that the best way to crumble an alliance would be to turn Millionaire Glenn and I against each other," Gilligan Chris figures out once he has spoken with her. After the discussion with Ginger Rachel, Gilligan Chris talks to Mary Ann Kate about his decision to break the alliance with the Millionaire Stearns. "Chris and I had this tight bond like we were going to vote together, then Rachel put the thought about breaking the alliance into his head. At the end, I know I have to fight for myself. He needs to see this is a game and someone has to go," says Mary Ann Kate, displeased with Gilligan Chris's decision.

The group is interrupted by the crackle of their radio, telling them to meet at the beach for the reward competition. They meet host Scott Lasky, who tells them that they must pair up to try for $5,000 in coins and cash. One partner is blindfolded, while the other is handcuffed to a pole, directing the visually impaired teammate to the spot in the sand that holds the key. The first two to get their key, free their partner and unlock the treasure chest get to keep the booty inside. Millionaire Mindy barks orders to Millionaire Glenn, while Ginger Rachel tries to get Skipper Jim to dig smaller holes. In the end, Mary Ann Kate leads Gilligan Chris to the prize money. "I think I knew we were the winners when I heard Kate scream. And I was sure of it when I was tackled by her onto the sand," laughs Gilligan Chris upon claiming his prize.

After the competition, Gilligan Chris is unable to enjoy his first massage--given by Millionaire Mindy and Mary Ann Kate--or his earlier win, because he is having trouble telling Millionaire Glenn that he no longer wants to be a part of the alliance. "The whole ally thing is something I can't be a part of. I'm going to vote my own way," he finally says to Millionaire Glenn. Millionaire Glenn doesn't take the news well and seeks out Mary Ann Kate to see if she is still on board with the alliance. Dissatisfied with her neutral stance on the pact, he heads back to his hut to discuss with his wife what he thinks her strategy should be--unaware of her dislike of all of his planning. "I'm having a good time, I'm taking it one day at a time and that's worked for me," says Millionaire Mindy. "I'm just being me. I'm not trying to be nice because that's a strategy."

The next morning, realizing that the alliance is breaking apart, Millionaire Glenn Stearns tries to save himself from elimination by going fishing for food for the group. "It wasn't about giving, it was about saving. And I'm hoping tonight I get saved," says Millionaire Glenn. Though the group eats gratefully, Ginger Rachel counters, "I'm not going to be won over by a fish." The castaways enjoy the fish, until they are told to meet for their second safety competition.

The six castaways meet host Scott Lasky at the lagoon, where they see an obstacle course. They are told that one by one, each will swing down the zip line, swim to a platform, cross logs, swim to a cargo net, climb to the top and stand inside a circle--all to win the life preserver and safety from the coming elimination. Millionaire Glenn Stearns goes first, and though he almost loses his swim shorts in the process, he sets--and wins with--the fastest time, forty-three seconds. "When Millionaire Glenn Stearns won the life preserver, I felt like a trapped chicken," says Ginger Rachel, disappointed at his win. Before they head back to camp, Scott reminds the group that they need to separate their friends from their foes.

Once they return to their huts, all of the castaways dress and prepare for the evening's elimination. They head down to Voodoo Village and are reminded of the rules by host Scott. Each of the six makes his or her selection and drops it into the box. Scott tallies the votes: Mary Ann Kate gets one vote, Millionaire Mindy gets two and Ginger Rachel is eliminated with three votes. "Maybe I could have been a little more aggressive but the only thing I could think of was breaking up the Millionaire Stearns or Mary Ann Kate and Gilligan Chris and I was almost there," says Ginger Rachel as she throws her doll into the fire and disappears into the bushes.

The remaining five reflect on the night's elimination. "Ginger Rachel was my biggest threat, but now I see that she could have been my biggest ally. I'm not sure if I did the right thing or not," admits Millionaire Glenn. Receiving a vote toward elimination jars Mary Ann Kate, while Skipper Jim reveals he was the one who voted against her to avoid playing dirty against the Millionaire Stearns. Confused and unsure of what's to come, the castaways return to their huts.

Is the alliance truly broken? Does Mary Ann Kate's vote mean the end for her and Gilligan Chris? What will become of the Millionaire Stearns? It's anyone's game on the season finale of The Real Gilligan Island!
